How do I change my password?
See Account Settings for information.
Note: If one or more players are disconnected while playing an untimed match, that match will resume the next time both players are logged on to Magic Online.
How do I keep priority after I play a spell or ability?
In Magic Online, you automatically yield priority when
you play a spell or ability. To keep priority (so you can respond to your
spell or ability), hold down the CTRL (control) key while you play a spell
or ability.
How do I announce spells and then pay their cost?
In Magic Online, the default settings require you to
have mana in your mana pool to pay for a spell or ability before you can
announce you're playing it. To change that setting so that you can announce
a spell or ability before adding mana to your mana pool, go to the Game
Play Settings screen and clear the Hide spells and abilities that
you don't have enough mana in your pool for check box.
What shortcut keys does Magic Online support?
The F2 key does the same thing as clicking the OK button
in the prompt area during a game. To undo mana abilities, press ATL+U.

If you are on a network with a firewall, most likely these ports will
need to be opened by your network administrator.
Note: Magic Online only supports HTTP proxy servers.
If you are using a proxy server, and attempt to install the game, you
will see the following error message:
"Connection failed...pls. check your connection to the internet...."
You will need to click on the 'Settings' button on the install/launch screen. This will open up the 'Connection Settings' window.
Click on the 'Detect' button. If your web browser is already configured
to use your proxy information, the game will detect this information automatically
and fill in the server name and port in the menu.
In addition, the check box next to 'Use Proxy Server Settings' will
get checked automatically.
If your web browser is not configured, you will need to call your Internet Service Provider (ISP) to get your proxy information.
If you are using a proxy server that requires you to login, you will need to check the box next to the 'My proxy server requires me to login' option.
When you do this, a 'Proxy Authentication' sub-menu will then appear,
prompting you to enter your username and password.
